Welcome to the Bible Translation resources page of the Competency-based Consultant Certification framework! These resources complement the CBC Competency Manager tool to help you develop both your general Bible translation consultant competencies, and the competencies specific to Bible translation consulting.

More information about CBC and competency manager, including training videos, CBC contacts in your part of the world and trial logins (to explore the software) are all available on SIL’s training website.

Further guidance on standards for translation consultants are outlined in the standards of the Forum of Bible Agencies International (FOBAI) (currently under revision).
